We are so close to committing to a really big show from a barge. We are collaborating with neighboring Ocean Park and Baylake Pines. We need your support NOW so we can commit to this $40,000 show. Check out these videos of what 8 inch shells look like. From the beach we are limited to 2 inch shells. |

Alexander's on the Bay put on a fantastic silent auction and raffle to benefit the fireworks effort. The turn out was great; the atmosphere was great; and the donations were great! We raised about $2000 for fireworks. Thank you so much to Denice at Alexander's for putting this great event. Also big thanks are due to Sue Haycox and Paul Speece for offering free vacations at their Hatteras beach homes as auction items. Congratulations to all the winners. |

The summer picnic was a raging success! Thank you to all the volunteers. We raised $217 for the fireworks and raised a lot of awareness of our project. I expect news of the fireworks project will spread by word of mouth. Please let your neighbors know about the fireworks and the need to DONATE NOW to make sure we have have fireworks in 2012. I look forward to working with everyone who expressed an interest to help with our project . Everyone's help is appreciated - email me if you are interested. Jim |
